Terms of Service

1. What we sell

PayOrPost sells advertising placements: a position on the paid board for one week, or a sponsor spot for 30 days. Prices are fixed and published on the rules page. We also process payments for sharer bookings under section 4a. We run no prize, pool or game of chance.

2. Buying a position

The paid board has 200 positions. You choose a position and pay the published price through Stripe. The position is yours when Stripe confirms the payment. If the position was sold in the moment before your payment completed, you receive the nearest free position at or below the price you paid, and the difference is refunded to your card. You are never charged more than the displayed price.

A position runs until Sunday 00:00 UK time of that week, when every position expires. Your listing cannot be moved or replaced by anyone during that time.

The service starts at once and is consumed during the week, so the cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 is waived by your express request when you pay. Payments are otherwise final, except the automatic difference refund above.

3. Your listing

You confirm you have the right to advertise the link you list. Listings must follow the content rules on the rules page. We may remove a listing that breaks them, or that we judge harmful or unlawful, without a refund.

4. The earned board

A place on the earned board is a listing for one week and has no cash value. It cannot be transferred, refunded or exchanged for money or anything else. We decide which clicks count by the published method, and our count is final. We may remove a sharer who uses automated traffic or misleading posts.

4a. Booking a sharer

A sharer may publish offers: post types and prices for posting a link on their own channels. Where the sharer has set up payouts, you can book an offer and pay through Stripe. We hold the payment and release the sharer's share, the price minus our platform fee, only when the sharer's post is verified live with your link. If the post is not delivered and verified within 7 days, contact us and we refund the payment in full.

The sharer is an independent party, not our employee or agent. The sharer alone is responsible for the prices they publish and the posts they make, including the #ad label the advertising rules require. Where the sharer has no payout account, a post request is an introduction only and no payment is taken.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the board online all week but do not guarantee it. If the site is down for more than 24 hours in a row during your week, contact us and we will refund the price in full or extend the listing.

6. Liability

We are not liable for the content of listed links, for the traffic a position receives, or for any loss beyond the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. To contact us, use the contact form in the footer of every page. The operator is a sole trader in the United Kingdom.
